Music Matters Spring Festival

Non-Competitive Adjudication
Solo Division for Piano and Strings

Mission

The Music Matters Foundation strongly believes that comprehensive evaluation is vital for nurturing the talents of young musicians aged 6 to 17. Their meticulously designed evaluation process assesses technical proficiency while fostering a profound understanding and appreciation for the performed pieces.

A key objective of this adjudication is to instill a deep comprehension of the musical compositions undertaken by students. They are encouraged to explore the historical context, the composer's intent, and the emotional depth of each piece. By developing this understanding, students can infuse their performances with authenticity and emotional resonance, captivating audiences with their artistry.

Simultaneously, the Foundation celebrates each student's unique talents and abilities, recognizing that their journeys may progress differently. The evaluation process is tailored to provide personalized feedback, ensuring every student receives the necessary support to overcome challenges and reach new heights in their musical pursuits.
