Music Matters Youth Chamber Music Program

Music Matters warmly invites talented young musicians to join our esteemed chamber ensembles. Our Youth Chamber Music Program is specifically designed for students in Grade 6 and above who seek to refine their collaborative performance abilities and develop essential leadership skills.

Program Highlights:

Diverse Repertoire: Participants will explore an extensive range of musical literature, from foundational classical masterpieces to innovative contemporary works.
Skill Development: The program focuses on the intricacies of small-ensemble playing, fostering communication, ensemble precision, and artistic growth.
Community Impact: Students have the opportunity to earn certified volunteer hours by performing in community-based events and outreach programs.

Instruments

Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Flute, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, and Drum Kits.

Tuition

Once we pair you with the proper group, the invoice will encompass the following fees:

$30 Membership Fee

and $99.90 per month for rehearsal months, spanning from September through November, February to May.

A primary instructor will be assigned to your group

All new applicants must submit at least one link to a recording of a solo work that demonstrates their current capabilities on their instrument.

An audition is not required for current Youth Music Matters Chamber Music Members.
