During the summer, Music Matters Foundation offers various camps for music enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. This is an ideal opportunity to improve your musical skills and build relationships with other passionate musicians.

Music Matters String Ensemble

Ages: Grade 4 to 12

Tuition: $385 per session

Chamber music study develops leadership, interpersonal skills, and critical thinking, and challenges students to incorporate soloistic playing in an ensemble setting.

Students will be placed in an ensemble following the placement audition. New and returning chamber music students must attend placement. Private study at the Preparatory is not a prerequisite for acceptance.

Music Matters Jazz Camp

Ages: Grades 5 to 12

Students will enjoy a deep dive into jazz improvisation, music theory, music production, & history while receiving small group instruction in a jazz combo or a group jazz piano class. Classes include small group combo playing, improvisation & music theory, electronic music production & recording, group piano class, Brazilian samba percussion ensemble, and more!
